A major accident took place in Noida on Thursday, a sudden fire broke out at a spa center in Sector 53. Two people, including a woman, were killed in the blaze. After the accident, there was chaos among the people of the whole region. Upon learning of the incident, the police immediately rushed to the spot and called the fire brigade after which the fire was brought under control. Although the cause of the fire is not yet known, it is said that the fire was caused by a short circuit. Police have recovered the bodies of the two deceased and sent them to a hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police said, two people were killed in a fire that broke out at a spa in Sector 53 which wasn’t open for around a year due to Covid restrictions and was opened for cleaning on Thursday, adding that Radha Chaudhary aged 26 and Anand Ankush aged 35 appeared to have died of suffocation.

After the fire was cooled down, two people were found unconscious inside the spa. They were rushed to the hospital, but were declared dead by the doctors when arrived at the hospital. They were declared to have died of suffocation. An initial investigation revealed that the spa had been shut down for around a year due to the covid restrictions and was opened on Thursday for cleaning purpose when the incident took place.

The owner of the spa was identified as a man from Delhi and the spa was situated at the Ashirwad Complex of Gujjar village in Sector-53, Noida. According to reports, a fire broke out at the spa center at around 5.30 pm on Thursday, when the news reached the people they called the police and three firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control after an hour of hard work. The officers asked the people to be careful while reopening the shops post lockdown and call an electrician to check the cable connections and other electrical equipment.
