According to figures from the Union Ministry of Health on Thursday, In the last 24 hours, 9,765 people have been infected with corona in the country. This number is much higher than the previous day. The number of daily victims on Wednesday was 8,954. In the last 24 hours, 477 people have died due to Corona in the country. The number of daily deaths was 267 people yesterday. So far 4 lakh 69 thousand 724 people have died suffering from Corona virus in the country. The total number of victims is 3 crore 46 lakh 6 thousand and 541. Corona has so far killed 52 lakh 23 thousand 479 people in the world. The total number of victims is 26 crore 34 lakh 19 thousand 383. Meanwhile, demand for booster doses has increased across the country at the the sudden news of arrival of a new variant of the Corona. In this situation, the Serum Institute has sought the approval of Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) to use Covishield as a booster dose. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals across the country.
