Petrol and diesel prices rise again for the second day in a row and were raised by state-owned oil companies. Today, the price of petrol has gone up by 80 paisa per liter in Delhi and 85 paisa per liter in Mumbai. According to state-owned oil companies, the rise in crude oil prices in the global market has made it necessary to increase the fuel prices. Petrol price in Guwahati today is Rs 98.34 per liter. The price of diesel is Rs. 82.67 per liter. On Tuesday, the price of petrol was Rs 95.44 per liter and diesel was Rs 81.97 per liter.

According to the source, the rise in the price of crude oil to more than $ 100 per barrel in the global market had resulted in a great loss for the companies. Prices will be raised steadily this week to fill the gap. According to the oil companies, their losses could be filled only after an increase of Rs 12 per liter in oil.

Today in Delhi , petrol is priced at Rs 97.01 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.27 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 111.67 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.85 per liter. In Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 102.91 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.95 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 106.34 per liter and diesel at Rs 91.42 per liter.
