I always work at the shop till late night and come early, yesterday too I went home at 11 pm and at around 4 am I woke up to the call of kids who go for morning walk everyday stating that my shop had been robbed. When I came to check it I saw everything, the door and the lock were alright from the front but when I went back to east side to examine I saw that the wall was broken and when went in to check then found that a lot of items i.e. sugar, oil, stationary items estimated about lakhs of rupees along with the ration rice of about 20 bags and 40 litres of kerosene were also stolen. I suspect that the incident took place at around 3-4 am and at 3 am a truck carrying bricks was parked here and I wish that the truck driver should be interrogated as it disappeared when I came to check. The police officers came and checked it and we reported every details we knew and hope that the further investigation is done thoroughly.”
